This super colt is a direct son of Foundation, one of Germany's top dressage stallions. His dam is by Demonstrator who was one of the most successful UK dressage stallions.

Foundation is already making his mark in the dressage breeding world due to the success of his foals. The dam is a direct Demonstrator daughter. Demonstrator was perhaps the most successful dressage stallion to stand in the UK. The dam is the only daughter of Faside Stud's foundation mare Reggae, who was a daughter of one of the top KWPN stallions, Olympic Vincent.

This foal's sire, Foundation managed a dream start in the FN breeding value estimation index: 168 points and 4th place of all dressage stallions across Germany.

After many wins in L-level dressage classes Foundation qualified for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. With Matthias Alexander Rath, he is constantly victorious and highly placed at prix st georges and inter I level.

In 2012, Foundation was awarded the dressage Hauptpramie from the Oldenburg Verband for the best first foal crop. Foundation has sired 13 licensed sons and numerous highly placed Bundeschampionat finalists. The licensed Feuertanz was the 2016 Hanoverian Champion of 3-year-old stallions in Verden, Ferrari was Oldenburg Champion of 4-year-old stallions in Rastede and sold for the price of €1.5million, the PSI price record of the year.

Foundation's sire is the 2004 NRW Champion Stallion, Fidertanz, who dominated his 30-day test in Neustadt-Dosse and then took the Vice Champion title at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. Foundation's damline has been very successful, producing grand prix winner Apache, Olympic horse Escapado.

The dam Dawn Til Dusk is by the International Grand Prix Dressage Stallion, Demonstrator. Ridden by Ferdi Eilberg Demonstrator competed internationally at Grand Prix and was short listed for the 1996 Olympic Dressage Team. In 1999 he was the Horse & Hound’s leading sire of Dressage Horses and in the same year was voted “Dressage Horse of the Year” by Dressage Magazine.

Demonstrator was ranked No.1 Dressage Sire on the British Horse Database rankings. Demonstrator is 100 Day Performance Tested and fully licensed in Germany.

The grand-dam Reggae was imported from Holland and is by the Dutch stallion Olympic Vincent, who is one of the top dressage sires on the KWPN Stallion Index. Vincent was named Dutch Champion at the 1989 Grand Prix at Haaksberg. One of Reggae’s sons was one of the very first British bred horses to get through to the second round of stallion inspections in Holland.

Reggae's sire, Vincent, led the 2006-07 KWPN dressage index with a massive 183. Her dam sire, Farrington, also has a good index of 129. Her great grand sire is Amor, who has a statue erected in his honour.
